The story of Louise Misha is closely tied to its founder, Marie Pidancet. After several years working as a ready-to-wear stylist, Marie launched Louise Misha in 2012, driven by a desire to bring poetry to her nieces’ wardrobes.

Growing up in a family passionate about art and literature, she was fascinated by the objects her grandfather, Jean Laude — poet, art critic, and admirer of African art — collected. This curiosity, along with a love of travel, continues to inspire her collections today.

The freedom and boldness of her great-grandmother Louise, a traveling actress who performed around the world, also shaped the brand’s aesthetic — and it is naturally from her name that Louise Misha draws its inspiration.

Very quickly, Louise Misha captured attention with its unique style, love of detail, passion for craftsmanship, and inspirations from around the world. Over time, the collections expanded: baby, women’s, and then home.

Claire Moulin, Marie’s childhood friend, joined the adventure as her business partner. As CEO, she structures the company alongside Marie. While one focuses on artistic development, the other drives growth and commercial strategy, in France and internationally. Here, they share a glimpse behind the scenes of their partnership.

Since then, the Maison has continued to shine through singular pieces, rich in detail and color, each carrying its own story.
