LOUISE MISHA x SAHELI WOMEN
Louise Misha continues its tribute to Indian craftsmanship with a new co-capsule created with Saheli Women, combining rare craftsmanship and a commitment to women's empowerment.
Four traditional techniques are in the spotlight: hand embroidery, handloom, block printing, and bandhani. Each piece, with its natural irregularities, reflects the poetry and uniqueness of handmade work.

Embroidery is one of Louise Misha’s signature details, each piece taking 2–3 days of meticulous work.

Each thread is hand‑strung on the loom, a process that can take up to two weeks. The weaving, guided by hand and foot, can take up to seven days for a dress.

Block printing uses carved blocks to stamp pigments onto the fabric, with each piece taking 2 days to complete.

Bandhani is a traditional technique where tiny knots are tied by hand across the fabric before it is naturally dyed. Once the knots are untied, unique patterns are revealed.
