Our story
Louise Misha was born in 2012 in Paris, from the imagination of Marie Pidancet who dreamed of bringing poetry into her nieces' wardrobe. Since its beginnings, the designer brand has spread the bohemian spirit of its founder: a vision inherited from her poet grandfather and her traveling artist grandmother, infinitely free, the famous “Louise”, a figure of bohemianism.
With the help of her childhood friend and associate Claire Moulin, Marie continues day after day to weave this bohemian journey, guided by a lot of gentleness, curiosity and a great open-mindedness. It is an extraordinary human adventure that brings together a close-knit and caring team, talented and respectful workshops, exceptional know-how and a love of hand-made, and loyal customers who make Louise Misha's heart beat faster.
"My grandfather, Jean Laude, was a poet and art critic, passionate about African art. I grew up surrounded by the pieces he loved and I developed at a very young age this love of elsewhere, this taste for travel even while staying at home, and this passion for folklore and crafts. This is why I attach great importance to the details of Louise Misha pieces: resulting from specific, sometimes forgotten, know-how, they give birth to unique clothes, endowed with a character, a soul, and thus pay homage to exceptional traditional cultures."

Through each of our collections, we invite you on a journey through time and around the world & we play with materials and colors to imagine a fashion that reflects us. We cultivate a passion for shimmering and floral prints, particularly of Indian inspiration, which recall the designer's admiration for this favorite country.
Attention to every detail is a signature. Our pieces are born from a love for the handmade and the magic fingers, patience and meticulousness. These are pieces that pay tribute to the talent of our workshops, promoting human know-how, often forgotten.
With a team and a community that are overwhelmingly female, Louise Misha is a lot of femininity. It is the desire to celebrate an assumed femininity, to offer all women a caring interlude and to allow them to feel beautiful and free.
Discover our co-capsule of precious and artisanal pieces, resulting from exceptional know-how, and part of a project committed to the emancipation of women.
